The discharge assembly has a spring loaded safety release door which prevents plugging. A rain proof cover protects drive parts.
A welded truss support frame holds the 1/2" truss rods. Rod tension is adjustable. It is used on all augers 51' and longer.
AUGER INTAKE
Heavy bars form the intake cage, with a mesh guard which provides protection from injuries. The three bolt flange mounted porous bronze bearing is greaseable.
DRIVE LINE, BEARINGS & 10 BOLT FLANGE RINGS
Driveline is solid 1" cold drawn shaft on 8" augers, with 10" augers having hi-strength shaft. Bearings mounted in the support bracket are self-aligning porous bronze. Welded angle flange rings are bolted together with 10 3/8" bolts for a positive connection.
HEAD DRIVE
A pre-lubricated ball bearing idle sprocket on a slotted bracket provides positive chain take-up without misalignment of sprockets. All sprockets have hardened teeth.
WINCH
The brake winch has 5.5 to 1 reduction for 8" augers and a 12 to 1 reduction on 10" augers for ease of raising. The winch has a built-in self activating friction brake with positive holding action while raising or lowering.
GEAR BOX
The gear box has tapered roller bearings and forged steel gears which run in oil. Box may be turned over to operate PTO from the opposite side.
FRAME & WHEELS
The vertical frame hinges 2' ahead of the axle to give more reach over the bin eaves. The spindles are high speed with tapered roller bearings packed with grease.
